Several of my covers from the last contest year have been recognized in both the Dallas Society of Visual Communications 2008 Professional Show and most recently in the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies 2008 Alt Weekly Awards - Four pieces have been accepted in the DSVC show, 3 for editorial cover design, and 1 for editorial design for an entire published piece (Dallas Observer’s best of Dallas 2007 issue) - For AAN, I’m one of 3 finalists for best cover design in my category - 3 pieces total - More info in the press release.

UPDATE
I have received 2nd place for Best Cover Design of a publication with 55K+ circulation by the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies for 2008.

My cover work for the Dallas Observer has been updated under the EDITORIAL section of my work - I’ll try to more proactive in updating weekly -
